In response to high demands for affordable labor, over three thousand of Migrant Workers are brought to the Niagara Region each year to work on local farms and vineyards. Due to language barriers, lack of information and accessibility issues, many of these workers are unable to access or receive health, social and other services that are available to them.
To aid in the availability and accessibility of information, The Niagara Migrant Workers Interest Group (NMWIG), in partnership with Positive Living Niagara, will host the 2023 Health Fair for Migrant Workers. We would like to invite your agency/business to participate in this event that will inform workers of your services or provide them with information.
